Regional Sales Manager – Distribution Channels

Description

Primary responsibility is the strategic and tactical management of the Indirect Channel sales efforts in the following domestic USA territories (North East, South East, Central, South, North West, and South West), Canada, and Mexico. Responsible to seek out and contract with 3rd party distribution channels to attain gross sales, net activation targets, and brand awareness objectives. Responsible for managing sales and marketing programs (co-selling with the distributors), market penetration, market and competitive analysis, opportunity assessment and the ongoing account maintenance of authorized distributors in assigned territory.

  • Identify and develop new account prospects through networking, referrals and cold calling.
  • Develop sales strategies, techniques and tactics based on customer feedback and market conditions.
  • Achieve and/or exceed the Indirect Sales targets.
  • Manage the distributor channel within an assigned territory

Field Sales Engineer

Description

The Sales Engineer is responsible for presenting product offerings and architecture in the best light to prospects and customers, to evoke confidence in I.C.G.’s technology infrastructure, and removing all technical objections in the sales cycle. To accomplish this, the Sales Engineer must have a strong desire to leverage their technical and/or sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value. Positions available in USA and Canada.

  • Understand the customer need and establish I.C.G.’s product line as the best solution that addresses that need
  • Build and present customized demos
  • Present I.C.G.’s technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with I.C.G.’s hardware, software, and services
  • Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certification to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position

Provide leadership and coordination of company financial planning, debt financing, and budget management functions. Ensure company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles.

R&D Program Manager

Description

This position will manage the pre-production start-up and launch phases of new product introduction projects.  This involves leading interdisciplinary teams that cross departmental and divisional organizations.  The Program Manager handles multiple projects at one time and assumes full responsibility for meeting milestones, especially those associated with:

  • The sourcing, manufacturing, assembly and delivery of products in advance of full production readiness (prototypes and pre-production samples),
  • The completion of full product and process definition to support regular production start-up / production transfer, and
  • Planning, monitoring, reporting and driving achievement related to product cost targets.
  • Co-ordination and completion of the project and to this end will perform a variety of tasks including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress of the project.

The Program Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. The Program Manager has sufficient latitude to exercise a wide degree of creativity in performing this role.

Planning and problem-solving tasks

  • The Program Manager is responsible for taking ownership of  the planning scheduling of the project in order to accomplish its goals or produce the products required within constraints such as time, cost and agreed quality standards.
  • Alternatively, the Program Manager might inherit a detailed project plan from sources such as a contract, a business plan, an organization or a funding body.
  • The Program Manager would normally be responsible for maintaining the program budget. In the first instance a specialist may help to prepare the budget for the Program Manager to then review. The Program Manager should have ownership of the budget. Therefore, if a PM is handed a budget by someone else, it is important that they are able to understand it, break it down and take responsibility for delivering the project within the defined budget. On large scale projects some sections of the budget may be handed over to someone else to oversee.
  • The Program Manager must continuously monitor progress in terms of the status of the schedule and budget and report back to the board, senior management, the client, or the funding organization via weekly or other progress reporting and by organizing and managing status meetings and board meetings.
  • The Program Manager must anticipate and catch deviations from a plan or schedule early and keep all participants and stakeholders informed.
    The Program Manager should identify, log, analyze and manage potential and actual issues and risks, taking corrective action by tackling day-to-day issues head on and reviewing how more serious issues and risks might impact on scope, schedule, quality and cost.
  • The Program Manager should identify where and when management of issues and risks or accommodating altered requirements will involve extra time or extra resources and where efficiencies can be made.

Communicating Tasks

  • The Program Manager should be able to articulate and negotiate consensus on a final vision of the product and/or the core project goals from scoping the requirements of all stakeholders, not forgetting the end-user.
  • The Program Manager should be capable of defining acceptance criteria or working with specialists to define acceptance criteria for project deliverables and will works towards achieving stakeholder acceptance of deliverables.
  • The Program Manager must be courteous and polite in written and oral communication, and be able to get ideas across in a non-confrontational manner in one-to-one situations, small groups, and before large audiences.
  • The Program Manager will identify the need for resource, and should subsequently take on team management responsibilities in relation to the resource available to the project.
  • The Program Manager may work directly with the team members or with their team leaders to estimate effort, plan activities and negotiate consensus among individual team members on their appointed tasks.
  • Alternatively, the work or parts of the work may be done by third party contractors, managed and coordinated by the Program Manager.

Technical & Quality Tasks

Without necessarily being an expert, the Program Manager should make an effort to understand the technology being used in order to understand and question requests coming from specialists and technical staff and to evaluate what is reasonable or possible.

  • The Program Manager must have an understanding of relevant methodologies, processes and standards and ensures that all project team members understand and follow these also.
  • The Program Manager may need to generate many types of documents, including requirement specifications, contracts, schedules, personnel records, project reports, communication (email) records, design specifications, meeting agendas, minutes and status reports.

  • Requires extensive experience (5+ years) in product development and introduction to manufacturing. Special emphasis on the aspects of NPI related to supporting success in on-time completions, early involvement in logistics / customer service / fulfillment and product cost management.

Responsible for the architecture, development and integration of Software that is required both internal and external to I.C.G.’s MobileMedia System™.  This software will allow for the successful operation and communication throughout the MobileMedia System™. These will include the:

Firmware Engineer
